How to Use the Date/Time Picker

The Date/Time Picker is a useful tool that can help you quickly find the date/time you need when completing tasks within your instance.

Selecting the Month

When choosing the date for scheduling a job, time off, alerts, or many other tasks, you have the option to select the date by using the side arrows or by clicking on the current Month at the top of the date/time picker.

Using the arrows will allow you to go month by month in ascending or descending order. When selecting the month at the top of the date/time picker, you are provided with a scroll option to select the month you require in a more timely fashion.

Selecting the Year

Just like above, when selecting the year for your scheduling item, you have the option to use the arrows, or you can click on the year at the top of the date/time picker to select the year you require.

Using the arrows will allow you to go month by month in ascending or descending order until you get to the month and year that you require. When selecting the year at the top of the date/time picker, you are provided with a scroll option to select the year you need in a more timely fashion.

Selecting the Time

Once you have selected the date and clicked on Select, you will be prompted to select a time for your scheduled task. To select the necessary time, you can use two scrollable columns. The column on the left provides you the hour selection, as the column on the right provides you the minutes option. Once you have selected the hour and minute that you require, you can push select to save your selection.

Not every date picker within the instance will prompt you with at time selection. Some tasks do not require a time, such as selecting a due date for tickets, selecting the date to view in the Dispatcher View of scheduling, etc.
